After years of sitting, those cylinder walls can look pretty rough causing you to lose compression. When we rebuild our engines, we ensure that each cylinder is measured, honed, and ready for another 50K miles.
A traditional, and still amazing, process we use is lapping our valves. This ensures that all valves are seating correctly giving that slow old bike even more pep.
Most old motorcycles do not require throwing the cylinder away if it is outside of standards. Rather we have the ability in the shop to remove your old cylinder sleeves and installing a new and sometimes even larger bore.
When you need a one stop shop where you can drop off that vintage Triumph, Honda, or Yamaha and have it restored or customized to your needs.
